Brunybeads is my art glass  business  based on North Bruny Island. (Well, it used to be, and it will be when I get back there full time, which will be shortly – I hope. Currently it is operating from temporary premises in Battery Point, Hobart.)

Brunybeads covers a number of glass activities and specialises in providing individual and unique lampworked glass beads (mostly made into jewellery), fused glass utility items such as plates, bowls and coasters, as well as architectural glass panels based on images of the d’Entrecasteaux Channel. This channel provides the view along the western side of both North and South Bruny while the view to the eastern side is of Storm Bay.  The glass pannels are composed of semi-abstract works in transparent, opaque and semi-opaque glass, delineating the beautiful southern skies, the islands of Tasmania on either side of the Channel  and the foreshore of Bruny Island.
